Okay, so after a little dilemma with forgotten passwords and email addresses and passwords to those email addresses (...a yeah, I had a retarded moment or 12), I've logged in and the contest is over!

I'm gonna take about a week or two to sit down, google the names and roll them around in my head. Then I'll announce the winner and we'll get on to the real reason you're here...the prizes.

So yeah, see ya in a few weeks! And thank you all for entering, I love the names! It's gonna be a hard pick!

I'm at a loss for creative names...so I'm opening up a contest.

I'd like to have an etsy shop for my dyed roving, yarn and stitch markers. I may also be selling some stuff for friends too.

With that in mind, I'm asking you guys for naming suggestions.

What do you get out of this, you ask?

Well, if I choose the name you suggested you will get to choose:

-A skein of hand-dyed yarn (knit picks bare, you pick the colors from what I have on stock)

~or~

-Hand-dyed roving (Ohio Valley merino, again you pick the colors. 2 oz)

~or~

-A set of stitchmarkers, you pick the theme.

Contest goes until Sept 1st. I may extend it if I don't like any of the names.

My first skein from my previous post is now offically a skein!

Also, I finished another 'skein' Friday night at April and Rosie's apartment warming.

This was done with Wilton's cake dye, except the brown which was some left over Dylon and the black (on the purple skein) with was Procion black, but wasn't mixed very heavily so it came out blue/purpley. So I think it's good results from that, but I want richer color. I just purchased some new Procion, so we'll have to see how that works.

If my fascination with spinning and dying keeps up I think everyone will be getting some hand dyed/spun stuff for Xmas. I'm already plotting colors.

Testing flickr out, and showing off some roving I dyed a few months back.

Still in the process of spinning it, as I'm using a drop spindle. It's almost done, on my last little ball of roving and I'm so excited. No clue what to do with it though.

Also, the spindle it's on was a Christmas gift from Robin.

I tried to take a picture of the bag I'm working on for Jeff, but the colors didn't come out that well cuz it's too dark in the house right now even with all the lights, and the flash washes everything out, like you saw in the arm warmer picture.

So...last picture are my little knitting 'helpers'.

It's about time this thing got updated. Well, I just spent a good 30 minutes resending passwords just to get into this. First this, then email, then email again to get the first email. Meh.

Anywho. As [info]yarn_tart has mentioned. We're looking at doing a craft fair at the end of the year. So I've been working on some stuff.

Wow, it's about time I update this thing. The only problem in I don't have much recently completed.

It's not very updated either. I don't have pictures of a lot of the stuff I've made. The red scarf is knitted, my first knitted thing. The grey and red scarf is crocheted as is the hand thing.
